Light up golf balls and glow stick surrounded holes were the scene at Green Valley Golf Course, Saturday.
The Tri-Valley Boosters held their annual golf outing to raise money for the Girl’s Basketball team.
But, golfers in this game played nine holes during the day and another nine at night.
“We tried something different this year,” said Tri-Valley Girl’s Basketball Booster President Charlie Sidwell. “We thought let’s just take a shot and we were kind of scared to just a night time, so we decided to split it up and we have a great turnout.”
Turns out lots of Tri-Valley supporters love the idea of nighttime golf, 15 teams signed up for this year’s event.
“We have a great core group of people that follow us and we have a great program and a great coaching staff,” said Sidwell. “It’s just fun to support them.”
Sidwell says they hope to hold the golf outing again next year.
