Jockey Critically Hurt At Noble Co. Fair

A horse racing accident at the Noble County Fair leaves a driver in critical condition.

Fair Board Member Kristi Close says the accident happened Monday night but could not give any other details.

According to the U.S. Trotting Association News, 34 year old Justin Hall, a Chillicothe native was injured in the accident.

It says Hall was driving a filly in a harness race when the filly made a break.

Another horse and driver were involved in the crash.

Hall was taken by medical helicopter to the Ohio State University Medical Center.

An O-S-U Media Relations spokesman says Hall is listed in critical condition.
