Zanesville Crime Stoppers Watch is growing.
Community Coordinator, Don Jones, says they’re gaining new members from the city and the county every day, and he says the table the organization has set up at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds is getting a lot of attention.
“We’re doing great. I couldn’t have asked for more. People have responded, and hopefully, by the end of next year, we’re hoping to go over 1,000 households, ” says Jones.
You can find the Zanesville Crime Stopper Watch’s table in the Muskingum County Sheriff’s tent. Jones says members will be at the table every day, until the fair ends, from noon to eight p.m.
“We’re registering people. Plus, we’re passing out some information about meeting times-when, where, and that sort of thing, ” Jones.
Jones says starting in September, the organization will have a meeting with the County Commissioners and Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz to expand Zanesville Crime Stopper Watch throughout the county.
