Accused ZPD Cop Shooter Back To Z-ville

Local News

The man accused of shooting a Zanesville Police officer and his K-9 partner has waived his right to a hearing in Stark County and will be back in Zanesville early today.

Police Chief Eric Lambes says Dominick Conley decided not to fight his extradition back to Zanesville and officers left this morning to go pick him up.

Chief Lambes says he is not sure where they will house Conley, but mostly likely it will be in the Muskingum County Jail.

Conley will appear in Zanesville Municipal Court probably tomorrow and will be bound over to Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.

Conley faces 11 felony counts in connection with the shooting of Officer Mike Schiele and his K-9 partner Bosco.
