Overturned Car Sends 3 to Hospital

An accident on State Route 60 sends three people to the hospital.

It happened near Pioneer Drive around 2:45 p.m. this afternoon.

State Highway Patrol Sergeant Jeremy Mendenhall says Carroll Hill of Philo was driving northbound on State Route 60 when she lost control of her vehicle, drifted to the right, hit a fence, and overturned.

Mendenhall says Hill’s niece and nephew, ages nine and 11, were passengers in the car.

Community Ambulance Director, Phil Koster, says all three were taken by ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital with minor injuries.

Mendenhall says the cause of the crash was likely due to wet roads and speed.
