The Ohio EPA is giving about 19 million dollars to seven areas in Ohio, three of those are local, but the money has to be used to help existing projects.

The city of Newark has five million dollars to work with, on a project that will treat large quantities of polluted storm water.

Buckeye Lake Village is also looking at five million dollars to construct a water main distribution system, and Crooksville is getting 600 thousand dollars to help with a project that is fixing drinking water standard violations.

The Ohio EPA received these stimulus funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
