The Noval Park Church of Christ is holding its annual Vacation Bible School through this Thursday.
Deacon of Education, Paul Lowe, says everyone from around the area is invited to join in on the fun. It’s free to church members and those who just want to come and experience this year’s theme…Fishing with the Master.
“We share Jesus, become the fishers of men and as he chose his disciples from men who were fishermen. We are trying to teach them that we can all be useful to society and to others by trying to help other people, ” says Lowe.
It’s a two hour event from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
For the kids, Lowe says there’s singing, puppets, a PowerPoint lesson, games, crafts, and snacks, and there’s even a one hour lesson for adults. Lowe says the church has invited youth ministers from all across the state of Ohio and even West Virginia to speak.
He says this Vacation Bible School is a family event.
“The research says that the families that pray together, stay together. We want to build strong families, and that’s why the Noval Park Church of Christ is so involved in trying to have one of the best VBS programs in the area, ” says Lowe.
