It’s time once again for the “First Friday Art Walk” in downtown Zanesville.
One of the artists featured in this month’s walk is Linda Regula, who displays her work at Tower Studios on South Street.
“I tell a lot of stories in my paintings about where I’ve come from. I also do a lot of fantasy, when I was a kid I lived in a fantasy world. I really lived in a coal mine area, but I lived in this wonderful fantasy world, so I do a lot of different things,” says Regula.
50 artists will be participating in this months walk, with their work displayed in 16 galleries. Regula says if you’ve never attended an art walk before you should definitely head downtown tomorrow night.
“It is a fun evening. You will see all kinds of art, all medias. A lot of people are coming out having dinner at the local restaurants, they’re d making a whole evening of it. When the weathers really nice they’re out on the streets and every studio you go into it’s a surprise,” she says.
Most studios will be open from 6 to 9 p.m. and a special Z-Bus will be circling the area to take people from gallery-to-gallery.
