It’s almost that time again, Pottery Week starts up in just a few days across Zanesville and the surrounding area.
Vice President of the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce Kelly Ashby says it’s a time of year everyone in the area looks forward to.
“We certainly welcome the pottery lovers to Zanesville and Muskingum County,” said Ashby. “They have come year after year. We certainly appreciated all of the pottery enthusiasts that come into the area. There are so many things for them to see and do while here.”
Ashby says people come from as far away as California for the 10 day event.
“There are McCoy lovers, Hall lovers, Brush McCoy lovers, just a variety of pottery enthusiasts that com into town and they are here to sell and buy pottery, have reunions, get together for a good time,” she said.
Pottery Week starts July 10 – 19.
A Taste of Zanesville will also take place July 15 as a part of the festivities.
