U.S. 33 in Lancaster is now open after a propane leak at a gas company prompted evacuations of 30 homes and 6 businesses within a half mile of the gas company, Thursday morning.
Fairfield County Sheriff Dave Phalen said the evacuations were due to the worry of a possible explosion.
